Slay is a strategy board game similar to the board game called
"Risk". You are able to play from two to six players (human and/or computer).
The object of the game is to take control of the entire island by killing all of the
enemies and taking all of the land. The board in which you play on is made of adjoining
hexagons. All the land that you control is divided into territories. Territories made of
two or more adjoining hexagons will have a capital. Theses capitals are portrayed as
houses. Any money collected from that territory will be kept in these houses. If the
territory possesses any money, a flag will appear on the house. If the territories are
connected, they will become one territory with one house. The money from the territory is
used to buy peasants and castles.
The peasant can be upgraded by putting two peasants together, each addition of a peasant
results in a higher rank, from an armed peasant, to a knight, to an armed knight. The
castles are used to defend your territory from the enemy's peasants, but can be defeated
by knights. The same rules apply to your enemy(s). Each of your pieces (peasants and
knights) can make only one attack per turn, either taking over an enemies castle, house,
piece, one hexagon of enemies territory, or chopping down a tree in your own territory.
Attacks are not allowed only on the first turn or if the territory is to well defended.
During your turn, if a piece can be moved, it will jump up and down. The still pieces
cannot be moved. Capitals with money and jumping pieces will be shown as red dots on your
map of the island.
