Wow. This program is a trip!

There is a simulator, where you can ride the pre-made ones included with the program, or ride the ones you create. Everywhere I turned there was a long list of things you could do too. While riding, you can change your camera view, change cars, change seat, take screenshots, play operator, and much more. There is a bunch of things you can toggle off if it's distracting or too slow because of video card issues, for instance one effect is sun flare.

You can change your environment like fog or sun. There is also animated and textured cars, animated track objects, 2 point controlled brakes, station wait time simulation, safety block system, wooden coasters, shuttle coasters, and you can run more than one train at a time, and paint your cars your own colors. Please understand I just grabbed some of the high points This program also comes with an Editor, so you can build your own roller coasters. That is very complex, like a fancy CAD program.

The demo is good for 15 days, then you need to register the program to use it. Certain features are not available in the demo version, such as the save feature in the editor. The demo comes with 5 pre-set tracks, in the registered version there is 50 pre-set tracks.

Is this program any good? Let me put it this way. I can't ride roller coasters. I suffer from bad motion sickness, even in a car...which means that roller coasters are very "hard" on me. This might have been a simulator, but it hit me the same as the real thing. The sound was great, the program was great. Download it and check it out for the heck of it, you'll be surprised.
