So you think that sounds awful big for a solitaire game? Well let me tell you, you have NO idea what’s “under the hood”. You can play solitaire for a LONG time without ever repeating a game! You will, as a matter of fact, never need another solitaire program!
You have 6 card types, 27 card backs, and backgrounds? You start off with seven standard color combos, and a customize menu that allows you to use any .bmp you’d like; but just in case that isn’t enough there is 5 more ba ckgrounds under ‘under 256 colors’ and 63 more backgrounds under ‘over 256 colors! And you can set your animation settings, and under sounds, you have a list that is longer than the one I have in windows! You can put your own waves in everywhere. Oh, and lets not forget the general tab of the configure menu, you can do more there, including change the size of your pointer. [you in the back, sit up straight and stop snickering-I meant the curser. Pay attention the best is yet to come!]
And before I forget, you don’t see this option often-you can customize the rules for each individual game. And if you’re like me, [I’d need to KEEP my shoes off to try to count cards alone-but actually if I counted cards, what would I cuss about?] there is a card counter for both the tableau and the stock
Playing with all that probably killed an hour, and you haven’t played one game yet. I told you, you will never need another solitaire program!
You know how most solitaire games have 6-8 games, [and usually the same ones] over and over? And you have to add 10 solitaire packages just to add a couple of different ones? And some people have the nerve to charge $25-$ 30 for just one solitaire game? Well, the people at Treesoft obviously think that’s as unfair and stupid as I do. Solsuite 5.0 has added 10 new games, bring the total of games up to 220. [Now do you believe you’ll never n eed another solitaire?]
This program is shareware, and it doesn’t disappear after 30 days, but you won’t be happy unless you register it. Before the 30 days are up you can play all the games, after the 30 days you can only play the games in the startup folder, which is only about 20 games. The unregistered version, though, only has one shuffle, which means that if you play the same game, the cards will be in the same place in the deck when you start, over and ov er again. [got a good memory?] When you register, there are over nine trillion shuffles for each game.
Well, have I convinced you yet? If not you must hate solitaire, so go away! But if you like solitaire-this is a MUST!
If you got to the website, you will find other sites you can download this program from other than I have listed.
